PageRefresh is a secure, lightweight, and accessibility-first automatic page reloader and webpage change monitoring assistant. Built using modern Manifest V3 API standards, PageRefresh gives you granular control over your browser tab refreshes.

Whether you need to monitor stock updates, keep real-time dashboards current, track auction bids, or test web applications, PageRefresh runs entirely in your browser with zero data tracking.

• Granular Refresher Timers: Configure exact fixed intervals or enable random timers (e.g., refresh every 5 to 15 seconds) to simulate natural user patterns.
• Visual Webpage Monitoring: Scan specific DOM selector regions or whole pages for modifications.
• Smart Change Alerts: Trigger custom sounds, system notifications, auto-scroll focus, or POST webhooks when keywords appear or vanish.
• Active Weekly Scheduling: Schedule page reloads to run only during working hours (e.g., 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM) or select days.
• Privacy-Minded Security: Local-only storage. Optional webhooks are securely protected using local AES-256-GCM encryption.

HOW TO USE IT
1. Click the PageRefresh icon in your toolbar to open the quick-start menu.
2. Enter your desired reload interval or range.
3. Click "Start" to begin.
4. Access advanced options, active schedules, and change detection parameters by clicking "Dashboard".

PRIVACY & SAFETY
This extension operates entirely locally. PageRefresh does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data, browser history, or activities to external servers. Your settings are saved locally on your device.

PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED
• "alarms": Required to trigger precise and battery-efficient reload intervals.
• "notifications": Required to send you desktop alerts when a monitored webpage changes.
• "storage": Required to save your customized refresh settings and schedules.
• "host_permissions": Allows the extension to safely inject reloading and monitoring scripts only on the specific sites you configure.
