What it does:
- Hides Shorts shelves and sections from the homepage and subscription feed
- Removes the Shorts tab from the left sidebar navigation
- Filters Shorts out of search results and channel pages
- Automatically redirects any /shorts/ URL to the standard video player (/watch?v=)
- Removes Shorts suggestions from video recommendations
How it works:
The extension runs entirely in your browser with zero external connections. It uses lightweight CSS rules to hide Shorts UI elements and declarative redirect rules to convert Shorts links into regular
video pages. No data is collected, no analytics are sent, and no accounts are needed.
