  The Markdown Tidy allows you to save markdown files and share it with friends

  A Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini answer is written in Markdown. Paste it into Google Docs or Word and you get raw ## and **, collapsed tables, mismatched fonts, and gray code blocks. md.tidy removes the copy → paste → reformat → export step.
  
  The editor is free with no account. Open mdtidy.com, drop in any markdown, hit Tidy, and export a branded PDF, DOCX, HTML, or Markdown — no sign-up, no credit card. The extension adds the one-click part: a capture button on every AI answer (a free sign-in turns it on).
  
  A capture button appears on each Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini answer. One click banks that answer to your library — no manual copy-paste. Click again and it opens in the mdtidy editor with live source and preview. Hit Tidy and it repairs the markdown — broken tables, stray bullets, and paste artifacts get fixed, the changed lines are highlighted, and it tells you how many fixes it made. Then export.

  * Export, free, no account — PDF, DOCX, HTML, and Markdown. PNG and Google Doc with a free sign-in.
  
  * Capture survives site redesigns — selectors update remotely, so a Claude or ChatGPT redesign doesn't break capture.
  Tiers, stated plainly. No account: the full editor, repair, three design systems, and PDF/DOCX/HTML/Markdown export — ad-supported. Free account: capture-from-chat, a saved library, PNG and Google Doc export (1 credit each, auto-refunded if a render fails). Premium ($5/mo): no ads, unlimited saved history, sharing, and a custom design builder.
  
  Privacy. md.tidy captures only the AI response you click — it reads that one answer through the page's own Copy button and restores your clipboard. It does not scrape your chats, your prompts, or any other page content. It's the companion to the mdtidy web app and the mdtidy MCP server for agent workflows — part of a real product, not a weekend hack.
