About
Anjum-trusted-device registers a browser as a trusted device for your own web application. What it does: - Generates a unique registration code in the popup. - Sends registration requests to your configured API endpoint. - Checks approval status set by your admin panel. - Works with the active site by auto-detecting API path, with manual URL override. Typical use cases: - POS, ERP, and admin portals that require trusted-device approval before access. - Organizations that want to keep device-registration control on their own server. Key features: - Fast code generation and copy. - Send and status-check actions in one popup. - Optional contact field (email/phone) for admin follow-up. - Compatible with HTTPS API endpoints. Required backend: - Provide an API compatible with your extension registration workflow (register + status actions). - Admin approval should be handled server-side before granting trusted-device access. Permissions used: - storage: saves device code and API settings locally. - activeTab + scripting: writes approved registration code to the active site local storage for integration. Data handling: - Sent to your configured API: registration code, generated device identifier, optional contact value, browser user agent, and active site context. - The extension does not read passwords or payment data. - Data is processed by your own backend policies.
