WiseSweep automatically clears your Chrome browsing traces so you can start fresh every time.

Use it as an automatic history cleaner, cookie cleaner, cache cleaner, and privacy sweep tool for Chrome. WiseSweep can delete browsing history, cookies, cache, download history, form data, local storage, IndexedDB, service workers, cache storage, and other browser traces on startup, on demand, or when the last Chrome window closes.

It gives you an Incognito-style cleanup workflow without needing to remember to open an Incognito window every time.

Whitelist feature:

WiseSweep includes a domain whitelist. Add sites like your email, bank, work dashboard, or WordPress admin area, and WiseSweep can preserve their cookies while cleaning other browsing data.

Cookie preservation is reliable when the optional cookies permission is granted. Local storage and other site-data preservation is best-effort and depends on whether Chrome can identify the site origin.

Permissions explained:

browsingData:
Used to clear browser traces such as cookies, cache, site storage, downloads, form data, and related browsing data.

history:
Used to fully delete Chrome browsing history.

storage:
Used to save your WiseSweep settings locally in your browser.

alarms:
Used to make cleanup tasks more reliable.

cookies, optional:
Requested only if you add a domain to the whitelist. This helps WiseSweep preserve cookies for sites where you want to stay logged in.
