About
Stop managing tabs. Close everything; lose nothing. ypuf quietly clears the tabs you've stopped caring about and gives you instant, full-text recall of everything you've ever had open. Tabs are open loops — let go of what's dead, recall what matters the moment you need it. Everything stays on your device. Auto-let-go. ypuf conservatively archives tabs you've left open for days and stopped using. They fade with a soft puff; the bar gets lighter. There's always an instant undo, it learns from what you reopen, and it never touches pinned tabs, audio, logins, forms, or sites you protect. Recall by content — the safety net. Every let-go page is indexed by its readable text, not just its title. Press Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+K anywhere and search by what a page said — "that article about the founder who quit Google to farm." Faster than re-googling, with content snippets and an "often revisited" marker so the pages you lean on rise to the top. Snooze a tab. Send a tab away until later today, this weekend, next week, or when you're back at your desk — with a guaranteed return. Bring back the set. Restore a page together with the working set of tabs it was open with — resume your whole research session in one click. A calm new tab. A quiet, glanceable board: your recall shelf plus optional panels (RSS, prices, top sites). A full keyboard layer for power users. Light, dark, and a starlit night mode. Privacy is the whole point. Nothing ypuf records ever leaves your device — no servers, no accounts, no analytics, nothing sold or shared. Page text is extracted locally and never transmitted. Incognito is never indexed; banking, health, and password-manager sites are excluded by default; form inputs are never captured. A visible "what's indexed" view and one-click "forget" put you in control. And because privacy claims should be checkable, ypuf is fully open source (MIT) — read every line at https://github.com/momentmaker/ypuf. Close everything. Trust that nothing important is lost.
