Every open tab is a decision you haven't made yet.
You know the feeling — 60 tabs open, the browser is slow, and closing any of them feels like losing something. So they sit there. You're not going to read most of them. But you can't let go.
The problem isn't organisation. It's that you've never been asked to actually decide.
Shelf is a Chrome extension that shows your open tabs one at a time and asks one question: what do you actually want to do with this?
There are only four honest answers:

Done — I've used this. Close it.
Snooze — Not now, but later. Bring it back tomorrow, in 3 days, next week, or on a date you pick.
Save — This is worth keeping. Add it to my Shelf.
Dismiss — I'm never going to read this. Let it go.

That's it. No folders. No tags. No system to maintain. Just a decision, made once, on each tab — until your browser is clear.
When the last tab is processed, Shelf shows you a number. How many tabs you cleared in one session. It's a small thing, but it feels surprisingly good.

Shelf is not a better way to save tabs.
It's a better way to close them.
