CRE Desktop Agent is a companion browser extension for the Medilis Clinical Reporting Engine. It helps healthcare professionals use CRE more efficiently by connecting the web-based reporting workflow with approved desktop-side actions through the Medilis Windows Agent.

The extension supports clinical reporting workflows such as dictation assistance, AI-based report actions, Image AI workflow access, and optional text insertion into desktop EMR, RIS, or reporting windows when used together with the approved Medilis Windows Agent.

Main capabilities include:

• Launching and controlling CRE workflow actions from the browser
• Supporting dictation and report-processing workflows inside Medilis CRE
• Connecting browser-based CRE actions with the Medilis Windows Agent
• Helping insert finalized clinical text into the active desktop reporting window
• Supporting Image AI workflow access where enabled by the organization
• Improving reporting continuity when working between browser-based CRE and desktop clinical systems

CRE remains the source of truth for report processing and workflow logic. The extension does not independently diagnose, interpret medical images, or replace clinical judgment. It only supports user-initiated workflow actions within approved Medilis environments.

This extension is intended for authorized Medilis customers, healthcare organizations, radiologists, clinicians, and support teams using the Medilis Clinical Reporting Engine.
