About
ForensicConsent audits any web page for the third-party tracking that drives
privacy lawsuits and fines: marketing pixels, analytics, live-chat widgets and
session-replay scripts that quietly transmit a visitor's data BEFORE the visitor
has consented.
Open the extension on any page and you get an instant A–F grade, a plain list of
exactly which trackers fired before consent, what category each is (analytics,
advertising, session replay, chat), and the legal regimes those pre-consent
transmissions are commonly cited under (US CIPA/"wiretapping" theories and
EU GDPR/ePrivacy). Every free scan also includes a tailored "How to fix" recipe.
WHY THIS MATTERS
US "wiretapping" (CIPA) demand letters and EU cookie-consent enforcement both
turn on the same fact pattern: data leaving the browser to a third party before
the user agreed. ForensicConsent shows you that fact pattern on your own site
before someone else documents it on theirs.
FREE
• Per-page pre-consent tracker scan with an A–F exposure grade
• Identifies the vendor, category and identifiers in each pre-consent request
• Detects consent banners — including banners that are present but do NOT
actually block tracking ("present but ineffective")
• Legal-exposure flags (US + EU) for each tracker category
• A tailored remediation recipe, plus a downloadable report
PAID (license-activated)
• Whole-site crawl instead of one page at a time
• Scheduled re-scans (daily / weekly / monthly) to build a compliance timeline
• Court-grade forensic proof: a SHA-256 content hash, hash-chained and anchored
with an independent RFC-3161 trusted timestamp + server signature — tamper-
evident evidence that a finding existed at a moment in time
• Before/after "remediated" proof (watch a page go from F to A on the record)
• A copy-ready AI-fixer prompt and a deposition-packet export
PRIVACY
All detection happens locally in your browser. ForensicConsent does not collect
your browsing history, does not sell data, and runs no analytics on you. The
only things that ever leave your device are (a) your license token when you
activate a paid plan, and (b) — only when you explicitly click "Anchor this
proof" — the audit's content hash, the page URL and the capture time, sent to
get the independent timestamp. See our privacy policy for specifics.
ForensicConsent is an auditing and evidence tool. It reports observed behavior
and common legal theories for context; it is not legal advice.Technical
