About

Keyboard Scroller is a lightweight Chrome extension that lets you scroll through websites using configurable keyboard shortcuts. By mapping scroll actions to the home row, it reduces ergonomic strain and increases browsing speed through precise, customizable controls.

By default, press j to scroll down and k to scroll up. You can customize the keys, scroll distance, smooth scrolling behavior, animation speed, and acceleration modifier from the settings page.

Features:

Custom scroll up and scroll down keys
Adjustable scroll distance
Optional smooth scrolling
Optional acceleration with Shift, Ctrl, Alt, or Cmd
Works with scrollable panels and modals, not just the main page
Avoids interfering while typing in text fields or editable content
No tracking, analytics, ads, or external services
Keyboard Scroller is built with Manifest V3 and only stores your extension preferences using Chrome storage.
