BenchCanvas Capture sends the site you are looking at straight into BenchCanvas so you can map pages, paths, and how they connect, without copying URLs by hand. HOW IT WORKS • Click the BenchCanvas icon in the toolbar while you are on any normal website • Choose your starting point: – This page: capture begins at the exact URL you are on. – Root domain: capture begins at the homepage of that site. • Tap “Start capture.” BenchCanvas opens, signs you in if needed, and starts the project from your chosen URL. WHAT YOU GET • A visual flow map of the site you picked, ready to explore, annotate, and share with your team. • The same capture experience you use in the BenchCanvas web app, with your URL already set. PRIVACY The extension only reads the active tab’s URL when you click the icon. It does not read page content, does not run in the background, and does not track your browsing.
