About
Cookie Channel Sync lets you manually back up and restore your own browser cookies to a self-hosted server, organized into "channels." How it works: click the extension icon on any site, then choose "Upload cookies" to save that site's cookies to your channel, or "Download cookies" to restore them. Nothing happens automatically in the background — every sync is triggered by you, on demand. Each channel has two independent keys: a write key for full access, and a read-only key you can use on a secondary device so it can restore cookies but never overwrite your data. This extension requires you to run your own server (open source, linked below) — it does not send your data to any third party or to the developer.
