Polish is a browser side panel that lets you take control of how any website looks — without code, without plugins, without touching settings. Open it, apply a style, and watch the page transform in real time.

ONE-CLICK POLISH
Five toggles that actually work:

Dark Mode — converts any site to a clean dark background with comfortable text colors
More Contrast — forces high-contrast black and white for maximum readability
Focus Mode — strips ads, cookie banners, sidebars, popups, newsletter nags, and chat widgets from the page so you can read without distraction
Extra Spacing — increases line height and letter spacing for more comfortable reading
Readable — switches the page to a clean Inter font with optimized sizing and rendering

Hand-crafted full-page visual styles:

🌴 Miami Vice — deep midnight blue with hot pink headings, inspired by the original title card
⚡ Cyber Mode — neon green on near-black with monospace fonts
📖 Clean Reader — soft off-white with Georgia serif, built for long reads
🗞 Newspaper — warm cream with classic editorial typography
🦉 Night Owl — warm dark amber tones, easy on the eyes late at night

AI STYLE
Describe any look in plain text and Polish generates a full CSS style for the page instantly. Powered by a secure API proxy — your prompts are never stored, and no API key is required from you.

HOW IT WORKS
Polish injects CSS directly into the page you're viewing. Nothing is sent to external servers except when you use the AI Style feature. Your saved presets and site settings are stored locally in your browser.
AI styles are generated by Llama 3 via Groq, running on a lightweight open-source backend proxy.

This is an early release. The core experience is complete, but improvements are on the way — including more presets, per-site style memory, and a lot more.

The AI Style feature is powered by Llama (via Groq) running on a lightweight serverless proxy. The Groq API key is kept server-side — it never appears in the extension code.
