Vocabulary Learning Translator helps language learners build vocabulary while reading real webpages.

Instead of translating an entire page, the extension lets you choose the specific words and short phrases you want to learn. Highlight a term on a webpage, add it to your tracked list, and future occurrences of that term will appear inline in your target language.

The rest of the page stays mostly in the original language, so you can keep reading naturally while getting repeated exposure to the vocabulary you chose. This creates a mixed-language reading experience designed for vocabulary acquisition rather than full-page translation.

Use it while reading articles, documentation, forums, blogs, and other webpages. Over time, your selected vocabulary appears again and again in real contexts, helping you recognize new words without leaving the page.

Vocabulary Learning Translator is not a full-page translation tool. It is designed for learners who want repeated exposure to specific vocabulary while still reading authentic source-language content.

Privacy

Tracked vocabulary, language settings, and per-site enablement settings are stored locally in Chrome storage. The extension does not send webpage content, tracked terms, browsing history, or personal information to the developer’s servers.

Translation availability depends on Chrome’s built-in Translator API and local language-pack support. Chrome may prompt you to prepare or download a language pack before a selected language pair can be used.
