HoverRoute - Image Download Organizer

About

HoverRoute is an image-focused download organizer for Chromium browsers.

Hover an image and click the compact download button. HoverRoute detects the image source the page is actually using, resolves supported original-image URLs such as pbs.twimg.com, and saves the result through the browser's Downloads API.

Organize image downloads with ordered, first-match-wins rules:

- Match page hostname, page URL, image hostname, image URL, or original filename.
- Use contains, glob, or case-insensitive regular-expression matchers.
- Build dated folders with ${date}, site folders with ${pageHostname}/${imageHostname}, and filenames with ${filenameStem}/${extension}.
- Preview the winning rule and generated path before saving.
- Keep generated paths relative to Downloads.

HoverRoute only handles images downloaded through its own hover button. It does not batch-download images, intercept other browser downloads, manage arbitrary MIME types, collect browsing data, use analytics, sync to the cloud, or load remote executable code.
