About

eDPI Calculator helps you find your true mouse sensitivity for first-person shooters. Open the toolbar popup, enter your DPI and in-game sensitivity, and instantly see your effective DPI (eDPI) and centimeters per 360-degree turn (cm/360). Then compare your settings against real pro player setups for the game you play.

WHAT IS eDPI?

Effective DPI is your mouse DPI multiplied by your in-game sensitivity. It is the single number that represents how sensitive your aim really is, regardless of which mouse or game you use. Tracking your eDPI is the most reliable way to keep a consistent feel when you switch hardware or try a new shooter.

The formula is simple: eDPI = Mouse DPI × In-Game Sensitivity.

WHAT THE EXTENSION DOES

Pick your game from the dropdown. Enter your DPI. Enter your sensitivity. The popup updates in real time and shows you four things:

1. Your eDPI as a single rounded number.
2. Your cm/360, calculated using the correct yaw value for the game you selected.
3. A status meter that tells you whether your current setting is in the competitive range, too low, or too high.
4. A side-by-side comparison panel showing top pro player setups for the same game, with their DPI, sensitivity, and resulting eDPI listed next to yours.

DPI PRESET BUTTONS

One tap loads the four most common gaming DPI values (400, 800, 1600, 3200). These match the native sensor steps on most gaming mice and produce the cleanest tracking with no driver interpolation.

PRO PLAYER COMPARISON

The extension ships with a curated database of competitive sensitivity setups from top players across multiple shooter genres. When you change the game selection, the pro comparison list updates automatically so you only see settings that are relevant to what you play.

OPEN FULL CALCULATOR

A button in the popup takes you to the full sensitivity hub at edpicalculator.net, where you can access advanced tools like cross-game sensitivity conversion, dedicated calculators for individual titles, and detailed guides on dialing in your aim.

PRIVACY

The extension declares zero permissions. It cannot read your browsing history, tab content, cookies, or any data from websites you visit. All calculations happen locally inside the popup on your own device. No analytics, no trackers, no telemetry, no external network requests.

WHO IS THIS FOR

- Players dialing in their sensitivity for competitive play
- Anyone switching shooter genres and wanting to keep a consistent feel
- People upgrading their gaming mouse and needing a matching sensitivity
- Streamers and creators replicating professional player setups
- Anyone curious how their current setup compares to the best in the world

WHY USE eDPI INSTEAD OF JUST DPI

DPI alone does not describe your true sensitivity. A player at 400 DPI and 2.0 sensitivity has the same true sensitivity as a player at 800 DPI and 1.0 sensitivity, because both produce 800 eDPI. That is why competitive players publish their eDPI rather than just raw DPI. This extension does that math for you in one click.
