About
FITMER turns your browser's side panel into a focused interval timer — built for Tabata and HIIT, and just as handy for work breaks and focus sessions at your desk. No setup, no sign-up, no internet needed. Open the side panel, set your intervals, and go. WHAT YOU GET • Classic Tabata structure: Work / Rest intervals × rounds, with an optional get-ready countdown • Big, clear phase display with a color-coded ring (green work, blue rest) and round progress dots • Audio cues — a tick countdown on the final seconds and a gong at every interval and at the finish — so you never have to stare at the screen • Adjustable work, rest, rounds and prep time — from a quick 20/10×8 Tabata to long custom sessions • Keeps running in the background: the timer keeps ticking and sounding even when the side panel is closed • Control it from the toolbar icon's right-click menu: Pause, Skip, Mute, Stop — without opening the panel • Fully offline and private: nothing is collected, no account, no tracking. Sounds are generated on the fly — no files, no network NOT JUST WORKOUTS Sitting in your work tab, Fitmer doubles as a break and focus timer: • Move more — a 50/10 set nudges you to stand up, stretch and reset your posture • Focus blocks — long "work" intervals with short breaks keep deep-work (pomodoro-style) sessions on track • Desk HIIT — squeeze in a quick Tabata between meetings without leaving the browser Set the intervals once and the gong tells you when to switch — eyes on your work, not the clock. WHY FITMER Most browser timers are plain countdowns. Fitmer is built around real interval phases, on-beat audio, and a clean dark UI that stays out of your way. Want the full experience on your phone? Fitmer for iOS and Android adds more modes (EMOM, AMRAP, For Time, Intervals), haptics, screen-awake and custom sounds — free. Links are in the panel footer. Train, break, or focus — just open the panel and push start.
