1)  Smart Boost
At high volumes, raw amplification causes harsh distortion. Smart Boost adds a professional-grade limiter that catches peaks before they clip , so 600% sounds loud and clean, not distorted.

2)  Per-Site Memory
Set YouTube to 200%, Spotify to 150%, and a podcast app to 400%. Volume Master remembers and restores your settings automatically every time you visit.

3)  Keyboard Shortcuts
Control volume without opening the popup:
Alt+Shift+↑ — Increase by 10%
Alt+Shift+↓ — Decrease by 10%
Alt+Shift+M — Toggle mute

4)  Full Screen
Chrome shows a blue indicator when an extension is modifying audio. Press F11 (Windows) or Ctrl+Cmd+F (Mac) to minimise it in full-screen mode.

5) Permissions
"Read and change all your data on websites you visit" is required to connect to the AudioContext of any site. The extension reads no page content , it only hooks into the audio pipeline.
