About
Paste As Bitmap fixes a quiet problem with copy/paste between websites: when you copy an image from one site and paste it into a rich editor on another, the clipboard often carries only a URL (`<img src="…">`) instead of the actual pixels. If the source site ever goes offline, changes the URL, or blocks hotlinking, your "pasted" image breaks. This extension intercepts the paste on your destination site, fetches the actual image bytes from the source (cross-origin, via the extension's background worker), and re-injects them as a genuine image paste so your destination stores pixels, not a link.
