ZONK is a clean, single-purpose text summarization utility that processes long-form web pages into clear, structured briefings using your own AI provider keys.

CORE FUNCTIONALITY:
ZONK captures the primary text layout of your active tab on command and generates a structured HTML layout containing an executive overview, top takeaways, categorical breakdowns, and direct key quotes.

KEY FEATURES:
- Bring Your Own Key (BYOK): Supports secure local configurations for OpenAI, Google Gemini, and OpenRouter API keys. Pay only for the tokens you parse directly to your provider.
- Text Customization: Supports custom system instructions to modify output language, depth, or formatting tone.
- Local Storage Architecture: Your API keys, themes, and configuration presets are saved strictly inside your local browser storage using the chrome.storage API. ZONK does not run a central backend server and never tracks your browsing history.

OPERATIONAL FLOW:
1. Navigate to an article or long text document.
2. Click the ZONK action icon to open the popup.
3. The extension extracts the visible text layout of the active page and transmits it directly to your configured AI cloud endpoint to format your summary.
