    ## Overview

A Chrome extension that continuously monitors your GitHub Pull Requests and surfaces their current “health” (CI status, review state, and ownership) in a compact dashboard. It reduces context switching by keeping PR status visible and actionable from the browser.

    ---

    ## Core Capabilities

    ### 1. PR Monitoring & Categorization

    - My PRs: All open PRs authored by you.
    - To Review: PRs where your review is requested.
    - Auto-refresh: Polls GitHub every 10 minutes to keep data current.

This effectively creates a lightweight PR triage layer on top of GitHub.

    ---

    ### 2. PR Health Indicators

For each PR, the extension surfaces:

    - CI/Check status (passing, failing, running)
    - Review status (approved, changes requested, pending review)
    - Review re-request detection after feedback is addressed

This provides an at-a-glance state model of each PR without opening GitHub.

    ---

    ### 3. Fast Navigation

Direct links from each PR card:

    - Author avatar → GitHub profile
    - Repository name → Repo page
    - Line changes → Files Changed tab
    - Card body → Full PR page

Designed to minimize clicks and eliminate manual navigation.

    ---

    ### 4. Jira Integration

    - Extracts Jira ticket IDs from branch names (e.g., `feat/JIRA-1234/description`)
    - One-click navigation to the corresponding Jira ticket
    - Quick PR link copy to clipboard

Bridges GitHub workflow with issue tracking.

    ---

    ### 5. UI Modes

    - Popup mode for quick checks from the toolbar
    - Full-page mode for focused PR management
    - Seamless internal navigation in full-page view

    ---

    ## What It Solves

    - Reduces PR status blind spots
    - Speeds up review turnaround
    - Cuts context switching between GitHub and Jira
    - Centralizes PR diagnostics in a persistent browser UI

In short: a lightweight PR monitoring dashboard embedded directly into Chrome.
PR Pulse exists for one reason: checking pull requests on GitHub should not require repeated clicks, tab switching, and page loads across multiple repositories. GitHub is strong at showing one pull request at a time. It is much weaker at giving you a fast, holistic view of everything that needs your attention.

If you have not installed PR Pulse yet, you are probably still doing same routine many developers repeat all day: open GitHub, go to repository, find Pull Requests, open status, go back, switch repository, repeat. That navigation dance adds friction, personally it's very annoying to me when the page navigation breaks and doesn't load.

PR Pulse collapses that workflow into one dashboard inside Chrome. Open extension once, scan your active pull requests quickly, and jump into GitHub only when you actually need deeper context.

About
