About

FormPilot — autopilot for forms

Stop typing. Start doing. FormPilot scans any web form, understands what each field is asking using your AI model of choice, and fills it in seconds — including the 500-word cover letter you'd rather not write.

WHY FORMPILOT

• Understands field context with an LLM, not pattern-matching.
• Fills essay and textarea fields with generated content grounded in your profile.
• Works on React and Vue SPAs — uses native setter bypass so frameworks don't strip your values.
• Supports dropdowns by semantic meaning ("United States" matches "USA", "U.S.", etc.).
• Multiple profiles. Personal, work, side-project — switch with one click.
• Per-field confidence score so you know what to double-check.
• Bring your own API key. Choice of GPT-4o, Claude, Gemini, or Groq.
• 100% local. Zero data sent to any server we control.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Install FormPilot and add your AI provider's API key in Settings.
2. Build one or more profiles in the Profiles tab — paste your resume into "Raw Info" for the best results.
3. Open any form. Click the FormPilot icon. Hit Scan, then Auto-Fill.
4. Review the filled fields. Submit when you're happy.

PRIVACY

Your profile data lives in chrome.storage.local, sandboxed to FormPilot. When you fill a form, only the field labels plus the relevant slices of your profile are sent to the AI provider you chose — never to us. We have no servers that see your data.

Open source under MIT. Audit the code on GitHub.

PERMISSIONS, PLAINLY

• "Read and change all your data on websites you visit" — required to read form fields and inject your answers. Used only when you click to fill.
• "Storage" — to save your profiles and settings locally.

Free to use. Bring your own API key.
