    description
VamiGuard is a browser extension that automatically detects and redacts sensitive information from your prompts before they ever reach an AI model.
100% local. Zero data transmission. No servers, no API calls.
All detection and redaction happens entirely within your browser.

    Current supported chatbots are:
    -ChatGpt
    -Claude
    -Gemini
    -Grok.

VamiGuard scans your input in real time and catches a wide range of sensitive data types:
    -Email addresses
    -Phone numbers
    -Credit card numbers
    -Passwords
    -API keys & tokens
    -Social Security Numbers
    -etc.

The detection is regex-based and you can always modify the ruleset, whether by adding blacklisted words or even new regex rules.

    How does it work?

The extension monitors the active input field with a live overlay.
When sensitive data is detected, VamiGuard alerts you and gives you the option to replace it with structured placeholders like <EMAIL_1> or <TOKEN_2> before the prompt is sent.
A live mapping panel shows exactly what was redacted and lets you restore individual values or all values at once.
