Brevyd — YouTube Video Digests

Brevyd turns long YouTube videos into something you can actually read — or talk to.
  
  WHAT IT DOES
  Open any YouTube watch page and the Brevyd panel docks into the sidebar. From there you can:

  • Digest This Video — generates a structured summary in seconds: TL;DR, key insights with quoted snippets, a deep-dive section breakdown, and time-stamped key moments you can  
  click to jump to.
  • Ask the video — skip the summary and jump straight to chat. Ask anything about the content — "What did they say about X?", "Summarize the part on Y" — and get streamed       
  answers with timestamps you can click.
  • Re-use what's there — if you already digested a video on the website, the panel just loads it. If you used Ask the video first and then click Digest, we reuse the same       
  transcript instead of re-fetching.

  WHO IT'S FOR
  Researchers, students, busy professionals — anyone who'd rather read a clean briefing than scrub through a 90-minute video. Light coverage is free (you sign up at brevyd.com to
  get a token); Pro unlocks the Ask Video chat, higher daily limits, and the dashboard features (weekly recaps, creator follows, topic radar reports).

  HOW THE ACCOUNT WORKS
  The extension is a thin client. To use it you create a free Brevyd account at brevyd.com, copy your token from the dashboard, and paste it into the extension popup once. After 
  that everything happens automatically when you open a YouTube watch page.

WHAT WE SEND TO OUR SERVERS
  When you click Digest or Ask the video, the extension reads the open video's captions and sends them to brevyd.com to generate the summary or answer your question. We do not   
  collect anything from non-YouTube tabs and we do not transmit your YouTube login cookies.

  PRIVACY
  Full policy at https://brevyd.com/privacy. Short version: transcripts and your questions are stored against your account so you can revisit your digests on the dashboard; you  
  can delete your account and its data at any time. We don't sell data and we don't advertise.
