About
DraftVault helps recover text you type into ordinary browser form fields if a page refreshes, crashes, or loses your writing. It automatically saves recent drafts locally in your browser storage, then lets you copy them back from the extension popup. DraftVault is local-first: - No account - No cloud sync - No analytics - No tracking - No ads - No remote scripts - Draft content is not sent to the developer or third parties DraftVault attempts to avoid sensitive fields such as passwords, payment details, one-time codes, tokens, private keys, and recovery phrases. However, detection is metadata-based and cannot be guaranteed on every website, so users should not use it to store secrets or payment information. Known limitations: - Drafts are copied from the popup rather than automatically restored into fields. - Complex editors may behave differently depending on how they handle text input. - Draft recovery is not guaranteed on every website.
