About
Speed & Loop adds lightweight playback controls to HTML5 video and audio players. Main features: - Increase or decrease playback speed with keyboard shortcuts. - Reset to normal speed or jump to a preferred speed. - Set loop start and loop end points. - Toggle A-B loop playback. - Use a compact controller displayed directly on the media player. - Supports negative speed behavior for reverse-style playback. - Optional keep-speed mode for sites that reset playback speed during playback. The keep-speed feature is disabled by default. It only runs on sites that you add in the options page under “Keep speed sites”. This is useful for players such as nicovideo.jp that may repeatedly override video.playbackRate. Speed & Loop stores only extension settings such as shortcuts, preferred speed, disabled sites, and keep-speed site entries. It does not collect browsing history, cookies, credentials, or page content.
