## 내 패턴 저장 데이터의 보관 기간

RegexKit에서 사용자가 직접 저장한 “내 패턴” 데이터는 Chrome 브라우저의 로컬 저장소(`chrome.storage.local`)에 저장됩니다.

해당 데이터는 외부 서버로 전송되지 않으며, 사용자의 현재 브라우저 환경 안에서만 유지됩니다.

### 데이터가 유지되는 경우

* 브라우저 종료 후 다시 실행해도 유지됩니다.
* 컴퓨터를 재시작해도 유지됩니다.
* Chrome 브라우저가 업데이트되어도 유지됩니다.
* 확장프로그램을 일시적으로 비활성화해도 유지됩니다.

### 데이터가 삭제될 수 있는 경우

* 사용자가 확장프로그램을 삭제하면 저장된 패턴도 삭제됩니다.
* Chrome 설정에서 인터넷 사용 기록 삭제 시 “사이트 데이터” 또는 관련 저장 데이터를 삭제하면 저장된 패턴이 삭제될 수 있습니다.
* 기기를 교체하거나 Chrome을 재설치하면 기존 기기의 로컬 저장 데이터는 자동으로 이전되지 않습니다.

따라서 중요한 정규식 패턴은 별도로 백업해 두는 것을 권장합니다.

## Retention Period for Saved Patterns

RegexKit stores user-saved “My Patterns” data in Chrome’s local storage (`chrome.storage.local`).

This data is not transmitted to external servers and remains only within the user's current browser environment.

### Data is retained when:

* The browser is closed and reopened.
* The computer is restarted.
* Chrome is updated.
* The extension is temporarily disabled.

### Data may be deleted when:

* The user uninstalls the extension.
* The user clears Chrome browsing data, including site data or related local storage data.
* The user changes devices or reinstalls Chrome, since local storage data is not automatically transferred to another device.

For important regular expression patterns, users are encouraged to keep a separate backup.
