JustType fixes that. It detects when you're typing and focuses the right field. Invisible until you need it, then exactly where you want it.

HOW IT WORKS

JustType understands the difference between a keyboard shortcut and the beginning of a thought. It never breaks your existing shortcuts — spacebar still plays, J and L still seek, every shortcut on every site works exactly as before. But the moment JustType sees you're writing something, it gets out of the way and puts your words exactly where they belong.

The magic is in the timing. JustType waits 150ms after the first keypress. If a second printable character arrives within that window, it's almost certainly typing — not a shortcut. It then focuses on the most relevant field and replays everything you typed so far. The delay is imperceptible to humans but large enough to distinguish intent.

PRIVACY AND SAFETY

JustType runs entirely in your browser. It does not read, store, or transmit what you type — it only detects that a key was pressed, then routes focus to the right input field. No keylogging. No network requests. No data ever leaves your device.

Password fields are explicitly excluded. JustType will never target a password input, even if it's the only one on the page.
