About

Download with Terminal helps you take browser downloads into your terminal/bash/shell. When a download starts in Chrome, the extension captures the real request and turns it into ready-to-use curl and wget commands.

What you can do with it:

- Copy a curl command for terminal use
- Copy a wget command for terminal use
- Inspect the real browser download request
- Continue the download with Chrome if needed

Why it is useful:

- Reuse authenticated download requests
- Move browser downloads into scripts or remote servers
- Debug exports, reports, and generated files
- Save time when a download only works from the browser

Important:

- Generated commands may include sensitive headers or cookies
- Some downloads may still depend on short-lived authentication or signed URLs
