About

QR Drag to URL lets you scan any QR code visible on a webpage without using your     
  phone.

  HOW IT USES
  1. Click the extension icon (or press Alt+Shift+Q).
  2. Drag a rectangle around the QR code on the page.
  3. If the QR encodes a URL, it opens in a new tab. Otherwise the decoded text is     
  shown in a toast.

  FEATURES
  • Works on any website — no server upload, everything runs locally in your browser.  
  • Offline QR decoding powered by jsQR.
  • Keyboard shortcut: Alt+Shift+Q (customizable in chrome://extensions/shortcuts).    
  • Press ESC to cancel selection.
  • Handles high-DPI / retina displays correctly.

  PERMISSIONS
  • activeTab — used only when you click the icon or press the shortcut, to capture the
   currently visible tab and decode the selected region.

  PRIVACY
  This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any data. All image capture and  
  QR decoding happen locally in your browser. No analytics, no tracking, no external   
  servers.
