About

Stream any browser tab's audio to your phone or another device — in real time, with studio-quality controls.
AudioCast Relay lets you capture the audio playing in any browser tab and cast it wirelessly to another device using WebRTC, with low latency suitable for music, videos, meetings, and live audio.

How it works:
1. Open the tab whose audio you want to stream.
2. Click the AudioCast Relay icon and press "Start Streaming."
3. Scan the QR code with your phone (or open the generated link) to start listening.

Core Features:
- Real-time tab audio streaming via WebRTC (peer-to-peer, low latency)
- Instant QR code to connect your phone — no app installation required on the receiving device
- Optional room password to control who can join your stream
- Automatic reconnect if your connection drops
- Native notifications when a receiver connects, disconnects, or an error occurs
- Live audio level (VU) meter while streaming

Audio Controls:
- Adjustable gain (volume) control
- Live VU meter to monitor input level

PRO Features (requires license activation):
- Advanced 3-band equalizer (bass, mid, treble)
- Dynamics compressor with adjustable ratio, threshold, and makeup gain
- Clarity Boost for enhanced vocal/speech presence
- Multiple simultaneous receivers (stream to more than one device at once)
- Session recording — record your stream locally and download it as a .webm file
- Live transcription displayed on the receiver's screen
- Hi-Res audio mode for higher quality streaming

Privacy & Security:
Audio is streamed directly between devices using encrypted WebRTC (DTLS-SRTP); our server only helps establish the connection and does not record or store your audio.
Your settings, license status, and session history are stored locally on your device.
Room passwords and streaming rooms are temporary and automatically deleted once your session ends.

Use Cases:
- Listen to your laptop's tab audio on your phone, then route it to a Bluetooth speaker or headphones already connected to your phone
- Listen to a meeting or webinar on your phone while multitasking on your computer
- Stream a browser tab's audio to a second screen or room
- Record and transcribe audio sessions (PRO)
