A short history of Shipment

Shipment evolved from the daily needs of the creative team at Awkward. Juggling multiple version of designs with an internal creative team while simultaneously sharing these same designs with clients for approval proved to be a task of exponential complications. Taking their own pain points into consideration, a beta version of Shipment was created as a proof of concept and quickly realised Shipment could be a powerful delivery tool for creative teams of all sizes.


Fits your existing workflow

Shipment was architected from the ground up to enhance the typical workflow of a design team collaborating on a project. Once connected to Dropbox, simply create a project, choose your design files, and add the appropriate people to view the project. Click “Ship” and that’s it, Shipment takes care of the rest. 

Share with others in real-time
Each time you update your designs Shipment converts the latest versions into crisp PNG images for easy viewing. Your designs are presented on a stunning, minimal backdrop so everyone can see your design exactly as you intend.

Keeping all stakeholders of a project up-to-date on latest designs and working files no longer requires escalating emails with huge attachments or links to zip files — Shipment clearly highlights which files are new or have recently changed. With an unlimited history of revisions, comparing the smallest changes is just a click away.


Collect feedback

Discuss the latest version of a file and keep the conversation focused on design. Shipment’s discussions are the best way to collect feedback, discuss ideas and hash out the finer details. Annotations are the perfect solution for talking about specific parts of a design. Simply highlight an area, add a comment and start a conversation.
