About

Receive, view, and send Pushover notifications directly from your browser. 

Features:
- Real-time message delivery via WebSocket streaming or configurable polling
- Send notifications with priority, sound, device targeting, and URLs
- Native desktop notifications with app icons and emergency acknowledgment
- Right-click to send any page URL or selected text to Pushover
- Dark mode with automatic system preference detection
- Send-only mode - no Pushover license needed to send messages
- Pop-out window mode for easier message browsing
- Offline message cache with unread tracking and badge count

Permissions Used:
- storage: Stores your session, settings, and cached messages locally on your device
- alarms: Schedules periodic message polling and WebSocket keepalive checks
- notifications: Shows desktop notifications for incoming messages and errors
- contextMenus: Adds right-click options to send page URLs or selected text
- offscreen: Creates a hidden document for clipboard copy support
- clipboardWrite: Lets you copy message content to your clipboard
- host permission (api.pushover.net): Communicates with the Pushover API for login, messaging, and device registration

Open Source and Private
- Your password is never stored. Credentials are sent directly to the Pushover API over HTTPS and discarded immediately. Only a session token is retained, and logging out clears all stored data.
- No data is collected, stored, or transmitted to any server other than Pushover's API.
- The extension is free and open source under the MIT license. View the source code, report issues, or contribute on GitHub.
- This is an unofficial extension and is not affiliated with Pushover LLC.
