MS Teams Presence is a lightweight Chrome extension for people who use Microsoft Teams in the browser.

When Chrome reports that your computer is active, the extension sends a small mouse-movement signal to one open Teams web tab every 120 seconds. This helps the Teams web client continue recognizing that you are present while you are working at your computer.

The extension does nothing when your computer is idle or locked. It only runs on supported Microsoft Teams web URLs and does not collect, store, sell, or share user data.

MS Teams Presence does not collect or transmit personal data. It uses Chrome permissions only to check system idle state, wake on a fixed timer, find a supported Teams tab, and send a local activity message to that tab.
