Nomisfits is a fit-projection tool for people who buy pants online — especially on resale and marketplace sites where every seller measures differently. Open a listing, and Nomisfits reads the waist, inseam, and other measurements the seller has written down, then projects them onto a 2D figure shaped like your saved profile. You can see how the pants will hang on your body before you commit to buying.
What Nomisfits does
• Reads visible listing text on the page — title, description, size, measurement tables, and listing fields — to find pants measurements.
• Supports cm, mm, inches, and quote marks. Normalizes everything internally and displays in your chosen unit.
• Compares detected measurements against your saved fit profile (waist, hips, inseam, height).
• Shows a 2D figure that approximates your shape, with the pants overlaid.
• Honest about confidence: when sources conflict, when garment type isn't denim, or when the listing doesn't include measurements, Nomisfits tells you clearly instead of faking a result.
Works on
Grailed, Depop, Vinted, eBay, brand stores, and most other shopping pages. Detection runs only when the page contains pants-related content.
Your fit profile stays on your device
Your measurements are saved locally in Chrome storage. Nothing is uploaded. You can change or clear them anytime in the panel.
Honest fit, not fake hype
The projection is optimized for denim and jeans-style fits. When Nomisfits detects something different — joggers, cargos, chinos — the panel says so and tells you the projection is an approximation. When the listing has no measurements at all, Nomisfits tells you that too. The point of the extension is to prevent bad purchases, not generate confident-looking guesses.
Optional add-ons (off by default)
Advanced users can configure OCR and brand-lookup endpoints in localStorage for higher-accuracy detection. Neither is enabled by default. Nomisfits never sends any data to third parties without explicit configuration.
