flowmaticc - Position Caret is a companion extension for the flowmaticc desktop application.

When you type your configured trigger character in any web-based text editor, the extension instantly captures the exact position of your text cursor (caret) and sends it to the flowmaticc app running locally on your computer. This allows the desktop app to display its template selector popup precisely where you are typing — no clicks, no interruptions.

HOW IT WORKS
The extension communicates exclusively with the flowmaticc desktop app via a local WebSocket connection (localhost only). No data is ever sent to external servers. No browsing history, page content, or personal information is collected or stored.

FEATURES

· Optional visual indicator (red circle) at the cursor position
· Real-time connection status shown in the toolbar icon
  — Green: connected and active
  — Orange: connected but this site is excluded
  — Red: desktop app not running

PRIVACY
This extension does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. All communication happens locally between your browser and the flowmaticc desktop application on your own machine. No external servers are involved.

REQUIREMENTS
The flowmaticc desktop application must be running on your computer for this extension to function.
