About

Auto Clear History keeps your browsing history tidy by removing non-whitelisted history whenever a tab or window closes. Automatic cleanup is disabled by default, so nothing is removed until you choose to enable it.

Add one base domain per line to preserve its history. A whitelist entry such as example.com also preserves history for subdomains including www.example.com and docs.example.com.

Privacy is built into the extension:

• All browsing-history processing happens locally on your device.
• Browsing data is never transmitted to an external server.
• Only browsing history is removed.
• Cookies, cache, passwords, downloads, form data, and website storage are not touched.
• The extension only stores its enabled state and your domain whitelist locally.

Click the extension icon at any time to open Settings, update the whitelist, or disable automatic cleanup.
