✦ HOW TO USE
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

1. Open claude.ai and make sure you're logged in
2. Click the Claude History Cleaner icon in your browser toolbar
3. Your conversations load automatically
4. Search, filter, and select the chats you want to remove
5. Hit "Delete selected" or "Delete ALL" — done!

✦ PRIVACY & SECURITY

Your privacy is the top priority:

• No data collection — This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data or conversation content.
• No external servers — All operations happen locally in your browser. No third-party servers are involved.
• No account credentials stored — The extension uses your existing Claude.ai browser session; it never asks for or stores your password or API keys.
• Open operation — The extension only communicates with claude.ai's own API endpoints on your behalf, using the same session your browser already has.
• Permissions are minimal — Only the permissions strictly necessary for the extension to function are requested. See the Permissions section for full details.

⚠ Important: Deletion is permanent. Claude does not provide an undo or recycle bin for deleted conversations. Always double-check your selection before confirming.

activeTab — Required to interact with the claude.ai tab currently open in your browser.
scripting — Required to inject the content script that communicates with Claude's API on your behalf.
storage — Required to save your theme preference (light/dark) locally on your device.

This extension only activates on claude.ai. It has no access to any other websites.
