About

Real Memory Browser Agent is the Chrome and Edge side-panel companion for Real Memory AI by Reallexi LLC. It brings chat, active page inspection, screenshots, artifacts, activity tracking, and Direct Model workflows into the browser.

The extension is designed for browser-based work with the model connection the user configures in Settings. Users enter their endpoint, credentials when required, model selection, context options, streaming behavior, timeout, and connection behavior inside the extension.

What you can do with Real Memory Browser Agent:

Chat from the browser side panel
Use the selected model directly from a clean Chrome or Edge side panel. The extension supports response settings and connection behavior where applicable.

Use Direct Model workflows
Direct Model allows the selected model to respond quickly and handle browser-safe tool calls without forcing every request through a planner/coder agent flow. Users can choose between Auto, Direct Model, Single Model, and Planner + Coder modes.

Inspect the active page
The browser agent can inspect the current tab, including the page URL, title, visible text, headings, links, metadata, and screenshot evidence. This helps users summarize, review, and understand web pages directly from the side panel.

Capture screenshots and evidence
Users can capture screenshots and keep supporting browser evidence attached to activity records, review logs, and artifacts.

Perform browser-safe actions
The extension can help with browser-native actions such as opening tabs, clicking visible controls, filling simple fields, submitting simple messages, downloading files, and saving artifacts.

Configure flexible endpoint types
Real Memory Browser Agent supports user-configured model connections. Each connection can define its base URL, API key or token when required, model, planner model, coder model, context settings, streaming behavior, timeout, and connection behavior.

Refresh models and test connections
The settings page includes connection testing and model refresh where supported, helping users confirm endpoint and credential configuration before running tasks.

Review activity and artifacts
The extension keeps sessions, activity, artifacts, screenshots, JSON evidence, review records, provider status, and generated files visible for review.

Local-first browser-agent state
Runtime state is stored in extension-owned IndexedDB with a chrome.storage.local fallback. Cookies are not used for provider configuration or chat state.

Local provider support
Local providers usually do not require an API key. Users can point the extension to local endpoints such as:

Local model server: http://localhost:<port>
Custom local endpoint: http://127.0.0.1:<port>

The packaged extension includes loopback request rules for localhost and 127.0.0.1, helping local browser-extension provider calls work without provider-specific origin hardcoding.

Built for production browser work
Real Memory Browser Agent is built for users who want a clean side panel with active page context, screenshots, artifacts, session review, model refresh, connection testing, and configurable model access.
