HOW IT WORKS
1. Click the EchoRecorder icon in your toolbar
2. Log in or create a free account
3. Select your screen or window to record
4. Record with the floating overlay bar
5. Stop recording — share link is created automatically
6. Anyone with the link can watch with synced transcript

UPDATES
The extension checks for new versions on launch and may show a non-blocking update notification when a newer version is available.

PERMISSIONS
This extension needs access to all URLs to inject the recording overlay and click tracker on any page you record. On supported social platforms, it adds share buttons to message compose areas. No data is collected from pages you are not actively recording. The offscreen permission keeps recordings running when the popup closes (required by Chrome's Manifest V3).
