    description
Workbench keeps your portfolio projects and proposal templates one click away while you job hunt.

    What you can do

    - Projects: Save name, link, status, category, description, tags, and an optional thumbnail URL. Search, filter by status or tags, sort manually or by pinned / most-copied / newest. Drag to reorder when sorting is manual. Pin favorites.
    - Quick copy: Copy a project link or a short proposal-ready snippet (name, description, link, tags) from the project detail view.
    - Proposal templates: Store reusable proposal text with categories and tags; copy a full template in one tap.
    - Notes: Add private notes per project (saved with your data).
    - Looks: List, grid, or compact layout; optional dark mode.
    - Your data: Everything is stored locally in your browser unless you export it or use local backup to a folder you choose on your device.
    - Save from the web: Right-click a page or link and choose Save to Workbench to start a new project with the URL prefilled.
    - Keyboard shortcut: Use the shortcut shown in Settings to open Workbench.

Permissions Workbench asks only for what it needs to show the side panel, save data on your device, copy text when you ask it to, open links you choose, and add the optional context menu. It does not run remote code and does not send your saved projects or templates to a developer-controlled server.
Workbench is a Chrome side panel for anyone who wants structure next to the browser: Notes (default), Projects (anything you track with a link and details), and Props (reusable text blocks)—with one search across all of it.

    What you can do

    - Projects — Save items with name, URL, status, category, description, tags, optional thumbnail. Search, filter, sort, reorder, pin favorites, folders, trash with restore, and more.
    - Props — Reusable snippets (outreach, checklists, boilerplate, etc.) with categories, tags, and folders; copy quickly when you need them.
    - Notes — Rich notes: headings, lists, checklists, quotes, tables, images, collapsibles, reading mode, find in note, HTML export, daily note, built-in and custom templates, word count, wiki-style [[links]] with backlinks, Markdown export for all notes.
    - Unified search — Find anything across projects, props, and notes.
    - Capture — Quick capture and context-menu actions to send pages, links, or selections into Workbench.
    - Your data — Stored locally in the browser; optional backup to a folder you choose; export/import. Nothing is sent to a server for core storage.
    - Keyboard shortcuts can be changed in Chrome’s extension shortcut settings (open sidebar, quick capture, unified search, save note).

Use it for side projects, research, client work, school, personal CRM, or anything you used to scatter across tabs and docs.
