Changelog
- Jun 15, 2026description
Keeps your place on the X (Twitter) home timeline. When you click "Show N posts" / "See new posts" / "Show more posts", X loads the posts and scrolls you straight to the top — so the post you were reading jumps away. X No-Scroll stops that: the post you were looking at stays exactly where it is, and the new posts appear above it (just scroll up to read them). "Show more posts" loads older posts in below, also without moving you. • Always on, zero setup — no buttons, no options. • Passive by design: it only acts for a moment after you click a "Show posts" pill, so it never interferes with normal scrolling. • No data collected, no tracking, no accounts, no network requests. Open source. • Home timeline only (x.com / twitter.com). Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp or Google LLC.

This extension adds a small ✕ to its corner so you can close it without loading the posts — no jump, nothing loaded. Clicking the pill itself is unchanged (it still loads the posts and holds your place, as above). v.0.1.5: New: a one-click ✕ on X's floating "See new posts" pill, so you can dismiss it without loading the posts (clicking the pill itself is unchanged). On by default; toggle it from the new Options page. Adds the storage permission for that one setting — still no browsing data, no analytics, no network requests. v0.1.4: works after in-app navigation to Home, not only after a reload v0.1.3: keeps your place on the chained "Show more posts" Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp or Google LLC.
