This extension blocks unwanted popups.

Clicking on the extension icon activates/deactivates the extension.

Once active all new tabs will be prevented from opening EXCEPT internal pages (URLs starting with "chrome:" or "about:") or if the user presses CTRL while clicking on a link; every other tab will be prevented from opening.

This extension was inspired by the TabBlock extension by xconvic.
