About

UDS displays two caption languages at the same time on supported YouTube and Prime Video pages.

Choose a language for each subtitle track, style them independently, and drag each overlay to the position that works for you. On YouTube, drop a subtitle inside the video to keep it anchored to the player, or drag it outside the player to fix it at a position on the page while you browse comments and other content. Each track chooses its anchor independently, so one can follow the player while the other stays fixed to the page.

Prime Video overlays remain player-anchored. Positions are remembered separately for default, theater, fullscreen, and miniplayer modes. Popup changes appear without reloading the page.

Features:
- Two simultaneous tracks from languages offered by the current video.
- Independent font size, text color, background, opacity, and outline.
- Independent player or fixed-page anchoring for each subtitle on YouTube.
- Player-anchored overlays on Prime Video.
- Draggable overlays with overlap avoidance and a glow that previews the anchor target.
- Position memory for each supported player display mode.
- Optional provider-native captions alongside the extension overlays.
- YouTube and Prime Video support.

Privacy disclosure: To provide subtitles, the extension processes the current supported video page URL, caption-track metadata, and subtitle text on your device. It stores only extension settings and subtitle positions in Chrome Sync. The developer does not receive, sell, or share this data, and the extension includes no analytics, advertising, or tracking.

UDS is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube, Google, Amazon, or Prime Video. Availability depends on caption tracks provided for each video, and supported sites can change their players over time.
