  🚀 Getting Started (2-Minute Setup)

  1. Install Sidekick by clicking `Add to Chrome`. 

  2. Click the `Extensions` icon in your toolbar (next to the search bar of Chrome), find `Sidekick` and click the vertical 3 dots, and then open `Options`.

  3. Configure the LLM model (Required). Major model families like Gemini, OpenAI, Claude are supported. If you want other model families, please let us know in the review.  

  Example to get Gemini Model API Key (Free)
  - Visit https://aistudio.google.com/apikey
  - Sign in and click "Create API Key"
  - Copy and paste your key in Sidekick settings
  - Test your API by clicking the test button.

  4. Get Google Search API (Optional - 100 free searches/day)
  - Create search engine: https://programmablesearchengine.google.com/controlpanel/create
  - Select "Search the entire web" and create
  - Copy and paste your Search Engine ID
  - Get API key: https://developers.google.com/custom-search/v1/introduction
  - Click "Get a Key". 
  - Copy and paste the API key.
