About

Title: MusicCave

Short Description: A productivity assistant that helps you easily migrate your personal music library between Apple Music and Spotify.

Full Description:
Moving your personal music library from one platform to another is incredibly tedious. MusicCave is a companion extension for the MusicCave web dashboard that acts as a personal productivity assistant, saving you hours of repetitive clicking.

Instead of manually searching for and adding hundreds of songs one by one, this tool assists you by navigating the user interface on your behalf. It simply reads the track names from your active music tab and helps you add them to your destination playlist, acting exactly as a human user would, just much more efficiently.

How it works:
1. Open the MusicCave web dashboard.
2. Open your personal Apple Music and Spotify accounts in active browser tabs.
3. Select the playlist you want to migrate on the dashboard and click Start.
4. The extension will assist you by navigating the search bar and context menus to add your favourite songs to your new library.

Privacy & Security First:
This extension is built with strict respect for user privacy.
It does not collect, store, or sell any of your personal data.
It does not intercept network requests or bypass account security.
It only interacts with the visible elements on the page (DOM) within your own authenticated browser tabs.

The extension only runs when actively triggered by you via the MusicCave web dashboard.

Required Permissions Justification:
"Tabs": Required to verify that Apple Music and Spotify are currently open in your browser before initiating a transfer, and to safely navigate back to your dashboard once finished.
