About
SyncTab collapses all your open tabs into a saved session with one click — and syncs them across every device where you're signed into Chrome. Unlike typical tab savers, SyncTab stores sessions in Chrome Sync — not on a remote server, not just on one device.
WHY SYNCTAB?
Unlike other tab managers, SyncTab uses Chrome's built-in sync storage. Your tabs survive Chrome updates, reinstalls, and device switches. No account to create. No external servers. Just save and go.
FEATURES
• One-click collapse — save all open tabs and close them instantly
• Keyboard shortcut — Alt+Shift+T to collapse without opening the popup
• Click to restore — open individual tabs or restore an entire session
• Cross-device sync — your saved tabs appear on every signed-in Chrome instance
• Rename sessions — double-click to give sessions meaningful names
• Dark mode — follows your system theme automatically
• Storage quota bar — always know how much space you have left
• Pinned tabs protected — pinned tabs are never collapsed
• Minimal permissions — only requests "tabs" and "storage"
HOW IT WORKS
1. Click the SyncTab icon (or press Alt+Shift+T)
2. All your open tabs are saved and closed
3. Open the popup anytime to view, restore, or manage saved sessions
4. If Chrome Sync is enabled, your sessions appear on all your devices
PRIVACY
SyncTab only reads your tab URLs and titles when you explicitly click "Collapse." It does not monitor your browsing.
Your data is stored using Chrome's built-in sync storage and is never sent to any external server.Technical
