TrackSubs helps you stay ahead of subscription renewals and trial deadlines. Capture pricing details directly from websites, organize them in one place, and receive timely reminders—so you avoid surprise charges and keep your spending under control.

How it works:
•  Visit a subscription/pricing page and click the TrackSubs action to capture plan, price, and cycle. Review and save to your account.
•  Set your reminder lead time (for example, 3, 7, or 14 days). We’ll notify you ahead of time via browser notifications.
•  Manage your subscriptions and see a calendar of upcoming renewals.

Permissions explained:
•  activeTab: Only used when you manually capture from the current page
•  storage: Saves your extension preferences
•  notifications + alarms: Schedules and shows renewal reminders
•  host permissions: Used to detect pricing information on relevant sites (we don’t read or store unrelated page content)

Data practices:
•  We collect only what’s needed to provide the service (e.g., subscription details you capture, your account email if signed in).
•  Data is encrypted in transit and never sold.
•  You can delete your captured data anytime from your TrackSubs account.
