About

DeSpoilerize helps you avoid accidental sports-result spoilers while browsing.

Turn on Catch-up Mode before watching delayed highlights, and DeSpoilerize will blur likely result spoilers on supported sites such as Google Search, BBC, and YouTube.

This alpha version is intentionally aggressive in Lockdown mode. It may hide harmless sports content, but you can reveal individual items or reveal all hidden items on a page.

DeSpoilerize runs locally in your browser. It does not use a server, does not send page content anywhere, and does not use analytics.

Supported alpha sites:
- Google Search
- BBC
- YouTube

Current protection:
- Formula 1
- Basic football protection
- Custom protected terms

Known alpha limitations:
- False positives are expected in Lockdown mode.
- Site-specific layouts may still need tuning.
- Supported sites only.
