Save ChatGPT's "Read aloud" voice as a file and follow every sentence as it's spoken. One panel for distraction-free listening and reading along.

ChatGPT can read its answers out loud, but it gives you no way to keep the audio and no way to see which sentence it's on. ChatGPT Voice Manager adds both. Start any Read aloud and the extension captures the voice as it plays, lets you save it as an audio file, and highlights the sentence being spoken so you can read right along. Everything happens locally in your browser.

💾 Save any read-aloud voice
- The voice is captured live as ChatGPT streams it and saved as an audio file with one click.
- Nothing is written to disk until you press Save — or turn on Save automatically and never think about it.
- A Download voice button is added straight to ChatGPT's response toolbar, so you can grab a voice without hunting through menus.

📖 Follow along as it reads
- The sentence being spoken is highlighted on the page, with the sentences just before and after faintly tinted, so you never lose your place.
- Auto-scroll keeps the page moving with the voice — or turn it off and scroll yourself.

⏯️ Full playback control
- Play, pause, stop and restart right from the panel.
- Skip a sentence at a time, drag the progress bar, or click any sentence in the message to jump straight to it.
- Speed the voice up or slow it down.

🎯 Fine-tune the timing
- Nudge the highlight earlier or later with a simple − / + control if it ever leads or trails the voice. It adjusts live while reading, so you can tune it by ear.
- Highlight by sentence, or switch highlighting off entirely — your choice.

🌍 Works in every language
- The timing is worked out from the audio itself, no speech-to-text and nothing sent anywhere, so the highlighting works the same whatever language ChatGPT is reading.

↺ Replay what you've captured
- Every clip you capture is listed in the panel. Press play to hear it again, with sentence highlighting if the message is still on screen, or save it any time.

🌗 Stays out of your way
- The panel matches ChatGPT's light or dark theme automatically.
- Minimize it to a small floating bubble and drag it anywhere, it remembers where you put it.

🔒 Private by design
- No tracking. No analytics. No servers. The extension collects nothing and sends nothing to anyone, everything stays in your browser.
- It asks for no special permissions and runs only on ChatGPT's own pages.

✨ Good to know
- Works with ChatGPT's Read aloud (text-to-speech) feature. The real-time Advanced Voice conversation mode isn't captured.
- Audio is saved in whatever format ChatGPT serves (currently AAC), which plays in VLC, Windows Media Player and most players.
